Submissions Information

The UCLA Journal of Law & Technology ("JOLT") is pleased to announce a student writing competition with a $500 cash award for the best publishable comment discussing a current legal issue within either the intellectual property or technology fields. The winning comment will also be published in JOLT’s Spring 2005 issue.

Entries for an award must be submitted to JOLT by 5pm (PST) on February 15, 2005. Comment submissions should be typed in double space (12 point font) in law review format and must be sent electronically to submissions AT lawtechjournal.com (replace "AT" with "@"). When submitting your comment, please specify that it should be considered for the writing competition.

JOLT is an online journal run by law students, dedicated to publishing timely and relevant materials addressing the law's attempts to keep pace with the ever expanding horizon of intellectual property and technological innovation.
